Safety Devices
Safety devices protect all items in a kinematic chain, allowing the line to work at a pre-setted maximum level.
In the event of a catastrophic high torque, the device interrupt the torque flow in the driveline, limiting expensive damages and production shutdown.
We can provide different safety devices to be incorporated between two flanges:
- with shear pins, having a calibrated groove and an inner hole, whose diameter affect the release torque;
- with breaking spacer, having as well a calibrated groove in the pipe outer diameter;
- with BIBBIGARD® modules;
- and, as a result of own studies in the last years, the HYDRO-SAFE® device, a combined hydraulic and mechanical unit.
